The Anti Sexual Harassment Committee (ASHC) has been constituted in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), 2013. The Committee is responsible for prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment cases within the campus.

The Committee ensures confidentiality, fairness, and protection to complainants while promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive academic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Committee

Prevention & Awareness
  • Create awareness about sexual harassment laws and policies.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and orientation programs for students and staff.
  • Promote a respectful, safe, and inclusive campus environment.
  • Display committee contact details and helpline numbers prominently.
Complaint Redressal
  • Receive complaints in writing or verbally.
  • Conduct fair, impartial, and confidential inquiries.
  • Ensure protection of complainants against retaliation.
  • Recommend actions to the management as per UGC norms.
Support & Guidance
  • Provide counseling and support to victims of harassment.
  • Guide staff and students regarding legal and institutional procedures.
  • Maintain records of complaints, inquiries, and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure psychological and emotional support is available when required.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor the implementation of anti-harassment policies.
  • Submit annual reports on committee activities to the management.
  • Update the institution on best practices and policy changes.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in campus safety and awareness.


Complaint Reporting Procedure
  • Contact the Chairperson or any Committee member directly.
  • Submit a written complaint at the college office.
  • Email the complaint with full details to the Committee at [email protected].

All complaints are treated with strict confidentiality and addressed promptly as per UGC norms.
