Anti Ragging Committee

The Anti Ragging Committee has been constituted in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions.

The Committee is responsible for preventing ragging activities within the campus and ensuring a safe, disciplined, and supportive environment for all students.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Anti Ragging Committee

Prevention & Awareness
  • Create awareness among students about anti-ragging regulations.
  • Conduct orientation programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Display anti-ragging guidelines and helpline numbers prominently.
  • Promote a friendly and respectful campus culture.
Complaint Redressal
  • Receive and investigate complaints related to ragging.
  • Ensure prompt and fair inquiry into reported cases.
  • Take disciplinary action as per institutional and UGC norms.
  • Ensure protection of complainants and victims.
Student Support
  • Provide guidance and counseling support to students.
  • Encourage students to report incidents without fear.
  • Ensure confidentiality in all complaint proceedings.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor campus activities to prevent ragging incidents.
  • Prepare reports on committee activities and cases handled.
  • Recommend preventive measures and policy improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with UGC anti-ragging regulations.


Anti Ragging Complaint Procedure
  • Contact the Chairperson or any Committee member directly.
  • Submit written complaints at the college office.
