Internal Complaints Committee

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has been constituted in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), 2013.

The Committee is responsible for prevention, prohibition, and redressal of complaints related to sexual harassment within the institution while ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for students and staff.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Internal Complaints Committee

Prevention & Awareness
  • Create awareness about sexual harassment laws and policies.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and orientation programs.
  • Promote a safe and respectful campus environment.
  • Display ICC contact details and guidelines prominently.
Complaint Redressal
  • Receive and address complaints related to sexual harassment.
  • Conduct fair, impartial, and confidential inquiries.
  • Ensure protection of complainants against retaliation.
  • Recommend actions as per UGC and institutional norms.
Support & Guidance
  • Provide guidance and counseling support to complainants.
  • Assist students and staff regarding complaint procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proceedings.
  • Ensure a supportive and inclusive institutional culture.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor implementation of anti-harassment policies.
  • Prepare reports on committee activities and cases handled.
  • Recommend policy improvements for campus safety.
  • Promote continuous awareness and preventive measures.


Complaint Reporting Procedure
  • Contact the Chairperson or any Committee member directly.
  • Submit written complaints at the college office.
  • Email complaints with full details to the Committee at [email protected].

All complaints are treated with strict confidentiality and addressed promptly following institutional and UGC guidelines.
